Fort Fisher Engagement in Wilmington, NC

On this chilly day in the middle of winter, Janelle, Jeff and I met at Fort Fisher State Park in Kure Beach for their engagement session. These two were all laughs as we walked along the coast during sunset. Fort Fisher has one of my favorite shorelines because of the basalt rocks that make the best dramatic yet romantic backdrop. There is so much overwhelmingly beautiful nature there that it’s hard to stay in just one spot. Between the oak trees, stepping stones, pier, and deep blue water, this is definitely a perfect place for an engagement.
