Lake Crabtree Fall Maternity Shoot in Raleigh, NC

Caro is a longtime friend of mine and one of the sweetest people I know. Thanks to her, I photographed my first ever event in 2017.

Her maternity session with her firstborn, Lucca, was at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Her and Jamie were dressed in elegant neutrals for a minimalist, classic vibe. She wanted something totally different for her second pregnancy, so we decided to do this lake session at Lake Crabtree in Raleigh during golden hour. We kept it all natural with her white flowy dress that coordinated with her son and husband. My very favorites from this photoshoots are the playful moments of her and her son in the water. I’ll forever hold our sessions close to my heart.
