Fall Family Session at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, NC
I love offering family sessions in the fall to give my clients the opportunity to refresh their holiday cards or update their prints. Dorothea Dix Park is stunning at this time of year! The wide open fields let in plenty of light and the foliage is always dramatic. For this family photoshoot, my friend Aby wanted to gift her mom a photo session, so I was all in. Prior to the shoot, I had a phone call with A’s mom to go over outfit ideas. We planned their outfits all around her beautiful red skirt, and we even made a mood board with color palette ideas included! I always recommend neutrals with a pop of color —there’s nothing more flattering.
